Process
Four phases, one continuous design language — from first conversation to the day the doors open.
Discovery
We learn the site, the brief, and the people. Constraints, references, budget bands and timeline — the foundation everything else is measured against.
Concept
The defining idea, drawn. Plans, the spatial gesture, the material and lighting direction — enough to feel the project before a wall is moved.
Design Development
We resolve the concept into a coherent, buildable design — bespoke details, FF&E, and the art-and-lighting layer that makes a NOMMA room a NOMMA room.
Documentation & Handoff
Drawing sets and specifications a contractor can build from. For cross-border work we coordinate with a local architect of record, or fly out — your call.
Working remotely
Most of our clients are not in the same country as our studio — and that is by design. We run concept and design phases from Prishtina, which is exactly why our fees come in below a Milan or London studio for the same level of presentation and detail.
For construction administration we coordinate with a local architect of record — the standard model for cross-border work — or travel to site. Either way, the design authorship stays with us, end to end.
